Heres What the Job is:
General Apartment Maintenance - You will answer all manner of work order requests from tenants. These requests vary but include things like, plumbing repairs, hot/cold issues, minor electrical repairs, appliance repairs, etc.
Unit Turns - You will assist in making apartments ready for new tenants to move in.
Scheduled & Preventative Maintenance - You will ensure the health of the properties and well-being of its tenants by changing air filters, making sure batteries are fresh in smoke detectors and grounds are free from any obstacles.
24-hour emergency requests - You will be assigned to a rotation of 'on call' service where you may be asked to come in to fix an issue after hours.
This position, just as any in this industry, will be full of other things that are not specifically listed here. You will have a lot of opportunities to grow and learn and you will most certainly never be bored.
There are a couple of must-haves on our list though as well:
Valid Driver's License and Dependable Transportation
Have Access to Your Own Basic Tools
Clean Background & Credit Check, Able to pass a drug screen
3+ years Apartment Maintenance (Preferred, not required)
Ability to work in the United States
Ability to Lift up to 40 lbs
