This is for our new store launching in Walsenburg, CO. The budtender position starts at $12/hr+tips, and will have the following duties:
Greet customers with a welcoming smile
Check to make sure IDs are valid and customer is over 21 years of age
Provide excellent customer service
Operate cash register
Count cash for opening and closing the day
Be part of the team
Follow closing procedures, including cleaning
Preferred Experience:
At least 6 months working in cannabis industry
Basic Qualifications:
Current Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) support or key badge
High school degree or equivalent general education degree (GED)
Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and some holidays.
Ability to follow company policy, and adhere to the guidelines set forth by the state of Colorado for the proper handling of marijuana
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions in addition to requesting clarification when needed.
Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work as part of a team.
Knowledge of marijuana products and the effects different products could have on an individual
Strong knowledge of MED guidelines and regulations.
