GroundWork Renewables Inc., based out of Sand City, CA, provides full-service weather measurement stations for solar projects across the US. We are looking for a part time technician to complete weekly maintenance (one visit per week) on weather monitoring equipment. Work will take approximately thirty minutes per visit, and can be completed any day of the week and at any time (as long as the sun is out) that you choose. All training and materials will be provided. Need to be reliable, detail oriented, have ability to take and send photos, and basic computer capabilities (email, internet access, etc.). Duties include leveling of equipment, cleaning of solar panels, and other minor trouble shooting as well as photo documentation and completion of an online form after each visit. While the technician may choose to complete at their convenience, follow through on submission of photo documentation and online log after visits to the station are especially important. The photo shown is an example of what you might expect the station to look like.
This site is located about 20 minutes north east of Center, CO. Please be sure to check that you are within reasonable driving distance of the site. We prefer to hire someone that lives as close to the site as possible. Nice way to make some additional income doing interesting work. Please, no phone calls to the office.
