Description:

This position requires a software developer with experience in software prototyping. Primary responsibilities include: developing and testing code used for encoding and decoding of video data. This is a technical programing-orientated position.

This position is for the development of an algorithm, NOT a web development position.

Basic Requirements:

Professional programing experience in Binary Spaces, 2D and 3D grid spaces

Communication experience directly with software engineers

Professional, expert experience in C programming on Windows platforms

Able to produce reliable software products, documentation and automated unit tests within established deadlines

Must pass background check, sign an N.D.A, and a Software development agreement

Ability to interpret the core purpose of a design and translate to tangible code

Self-directed and collaborative team member

Able to work remotely and in a largely self-directed environment

Preferred Requirements:

Statistical, Image processing, and frequency analysis experience is highly desirable

Strong math, physics or engineering background is preferred

Knowledge of K means image segmentation and RASI systems

Software troubleshooting and code optimization experience is highly desirable

Working knowledge of Data Interpolation methodologies is highly desirable

Previous experience with MPEG is desirable

Ability to manage time effectively to meet multiple, tight deadlines
