Data Scientist for AIOps Team
Job Description: About the role: We are looking for a entry level / early career Data Scientist who wants to be hands-on to help extract value from vast amounts of data collected both internally and by our customers. You will help develop all the processes from data collection, cleaning, and pre-processing, to training models, exploring prototypes, and deploying them to production. As a key part of our Artificial Intelligence Operations team (AIOps) we want you to help us take the work we do in Machine Learning and backend development to deliver new offerings for our portfolios in ITOM (Information Technology Operations Management) where we help customer driver their digital business by simplifying what they view in their complex environments. The ideal candidate will be passionate about machine learning and artificial intelligence and stays up to date with the latest developments in the field and wants to learn in a growing, intellectual environment with the purpose to help the customer / end users become more knowledgeable about their environments thru AI. As a Data Scientist on our team you will- Join a dynamic and engaged Data Science team of Data Scientists, UI and Backend developers and Architects.
- Understand the ITOM users' objectives and develop models and data/metrics required to support the development of models.
- Help define technical architecture for target projects or user cases / user stories and influence the development teams that build this architecture
- Analyze ML algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and rank them by their success probability - for structured, unstructured and mixed data types. Tuning, adapting or introducing new algorithms if/as needed.
- Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms from structured and unstructured data-, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc as well as data mining, statistics and probabilities
- Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc. experience in at least one of these is highly desirable; proficiency with a deep learning framework such as TensorFlow
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree tied to CS, ML/AI/Analytics/Big Data orientation
- Typically 0 to 3 years of experience.
