Summit Express is a locally owned transportation company located in Silverthorne, CO. We are looking to fill several dispatcher positions.
Dispatchers are key to successful operations of Summit Express and take an individual who enjoys a challenge with the ability to multitask while staying focused. Not everyone can fill this role but Summit Express values those who can and we compensate accordingly. After completing your training the pay starts at $20 an hour with training pay at $17.50 an hour.

We provide daily scheduled service to/from Frisco, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Silverthorne, Keystone, and Dillon with private service which is available 24/7.
Seeking employees available for a variety of shifts including weekdays, weekends and evenings.
Job Duties:
General duties of this position include maintaining positive control over all Fleet vehicles during their operations
Responsibilities:
Communicate clearly with drivers for any changes to the manifests or schedules.
Answer dispatch line for drivers and current day of guests.
Communicate with guests via email, text, or phone.
Navigate website reservation system to answer potential guests questions. (i.e. weather, road conditions, estimated travel time)
Maintain constant control of each vehicle while on the road via GPS tracker and push-to-talk cell phones.
Track and monitor guest flights to accommodate guests
Determine most effective driver pick up routes in the county for departure & arrival shuttles
Direct Mountain Transfer Drivers.
Answer phone to take reservations.
Use Internet-based website reservation system to book or change reservations for guests who call-in.
Communicate and coordinate with reservation agents for a smooth travel experience for our guests.
Ability to problem solve and coordinate any logistical issues that arise throughout the day
road closures, weather delays, maintenance issues, driver availability/no show.
Ability to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shift if necessary.
Any other assigned duties which are safe and legal.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. and experience as a dispatcher/high paced office worker is preferable. Experience with reservations may also qualify from another shuttle company.
Should be fluent in English as you will be interacting with the public and providing information regarding their questions about Colorado and their destination areas (places to eat, shop, ski/board, etc) during every shift.
Must be friendly and pleasant with good communication skills.
Knowledge and ability to use the Internet, MS Office, and general computer skills to include keyboarding.
Attention to detail, such as directions, addresses and other pertinent guest information to relay to the driver on a moment's notice.
Must be able to prioritize tasks and remain calm during busy or stressful situations where multiple items are occurring at once.
Must qualify as a Driver as well for transfer assistance and movement of vehicles. Clean Driving Record.
Must be at least 23 years old.
