Responsibilities
Assist in supervising F&B personnel, to ensure proper and efficient floors coverage and exceed excellent guest service and satisfaction in a timely manner. Assist in employee training, delivering clear communication as well as maintaining employee's moral. Act in capacity of manager in absence of management staff opening and closing outlets.
Assist with restaurant operations including opening and closing restaurant as per procedures, satisfying guest complaints or special requests, serving as wait, bar, or kitchen staff when necessary.
Close restaurant at the end of daily operations. Balance cash sales receipt and complete necessary reports as required. Responsible for ensuring the preparation of the restaurant, bar, and kitchen for next shift.
Familiar with outlet menu and prices ensuring that all tickets are properly completed in a timely manner.
Ensure that department is completely set up and ready for each successive shift and that Employees are on time and in proper uniform.
Assist in maintaining the standards of the Food and Beverage Manual and ensure that all Employees are adequately instructed in service procedures.
Assist in scheduling of employees.
Ensure that all equipment is properly used and stored.
Ensure all servers/bartenders end of the shift report paperwork balances. Ensure all checks charges are correct, with correct signature.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or GED required. Some college/degree preferred.
Experience
Two year food and beverage experience and two year supervisory experience preferable in a high volume hotel/restaurant operation.
Certification
State License and Food Certification required.
