Full Time, Year Round Entry Level Hot Tub Technician

SummitCove is looking to hire a full time, year round Hot Tub Technician. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining all hot tubs as well as helping with minor repairs and projects inside our managed properties. The position requires a natural ability to problem solve and enjoy helping others. Daily interactions with our guests and homeowners require a strong customer service focus. Superior communication skills are also an important part of this position. The position requires a positive and outgoing personality and strong work ethic.

Starting pay is $16/hour.

Requirements

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

-Completing hot tub services-including drain/fills, balancing chemicals and troubleshooting issues

-Changing light bulbs/batteries

-Troubleshooting TV and Internet issues

-Shoveling, snow removal

-Respond to guest service calls

-Update work orders with relevant information

-Communicate regularly with coordinators, supervisors and owner team

Qualifications and Skills:

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPO certification preferred but we will train and certify the right candidate.

Communication Skills

Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, possess excellent face to face and telephone etiquette. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other team members and homeowners.

Organizational Skills

Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner is a must. Must be able to multi-task and problem solve in an organized manner.

Computer and Math Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra to geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to be fully accountable for decisions is a must.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

This position is mainly out in the field, sometimes in unruly weather when necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
