The Farm at Knapp Ranch is looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking individual to work a labor of love on our SUSTAINABLE, ORGANIC, HIGH-ALTITUDE Farm approximately June 1 October 31, 2019 (dependent on weather).
Job Requirements:
Farming, growing, harvesting, weeding, and planting experience
Processing and packing experience desired
Capable of physical labor for long periods
Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Work safely in all weather conditions (rain, snow, summer heat 75-80Ë)
Take direction well
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Farm equipment operator a plus
Transportation:
The Farm at Knapp Ranch is located 20-30 minutes from Edwards up a steep dirt road.
Dress Code:
Work gloves, sweatshirt and t-shirts provided
Clean pants and work boots required
Work Days and Hours:
40hrs/week 7:00 am 4:00 pm
Will require some work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Extended hours with overtime pay up to 10/hrs per week in June, July, and August from 7:00 am 6:00 pm.
Compensation:
Pay starts at $16/hour
