To help us achieve that mission, we are looking for 1 Entry Level Aggregate Plant Maintenance Technician. Please Note: This position is full-time "Swing Shift 2pm-10pm" and located in Fairplay Colorado.
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Technician identifies, evaluates and performs mechanical and preventative repairs to plant processing equipment. These duties include welding, cutting, pipe fitting and operation of light machine tooling. The candidate will apply knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and electrical components.
Functional Responsibilities:
Identify repair requirements for equipment and conduct effective and timely repairs as required
Develop preventative maintenance routines for plant equipment and execute
Ability to identify and solve problems, develop and select action plans and make decisions with minimal supervision
Operate various plant equipment required to perform the job (stationary or mobile)
Operate maintenance repair equipment such as man lifts and forklifts
Comprehend Lock Out/Tag Out procedures per company policy
Ability to follow safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
General knowledge of working around large aggregate mines, and equipment
Welding Experience a plus
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a Valid Driver's License
Must have flexibility for overtime
Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Standing - 8 to 10 hours daily
Walking - 8 to 10 hours daily
Bending/Stooping - 8 to 10 hours daily
Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping) 8 to 10 hours daily
Lifting (weights up to 100 lbs.) - Occasionally
Lift and Carry (50/60 lbs. for 20 feet) - Regularly
