Construction Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent
Compass Homes/Summit Homes, the largest residential Developer/General Contractor in Summit County, is seeking Construction Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents to oversee various multiple residential apartment and townhome projects. These positions supervise daily activities at the construction site, take deliveries, oversee subcontractors, ensure integrity of operational standards, walk with building inspectors, ensure safety requirements are being met, keep daily logs and photos, and report to the Project Manager. Candidates must be accustomed to a fast-paced working environment. In general, this position:
Monitors daily activities and compiles reports on progress, compliance, and obstacles;
Effectively and efficiently coordinates all phases of construction, resulting in a product that meets plans, specs, quality, schedule and budget;
Inspects completed and in progress structures and sites for safety, compliance, and conforming to material and structural needs;
Enforces safety and legal regulations to ensure a safe job site;
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with subcontractors and field staff;
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with all inspecting agencies, and manages the various inspection processes;
Ensures cleanliness of job site; and
Assists with and inspects material deliveries.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education:
Bachelor's Degree; Construction Management preferred
Experience:
Relevant construction management experience required

Computer savvy
