Peraton is seeking a Cyber Systems Administrator who will support Peraton's Cyber Defense Engineering and Training II (CDET II) contract with the newly formed U.S. Space Force (USSF). The purpose of the CDET II contract is to provide cyber defense expertise to assigned Space Mission Systems with the goal of improving cyber defense capabilities. The selected individual will support the GPS Mission System at Schriever AFB, CO.

Peraton is seeking a highly motivated individual with a committed determination to the mission and a strong ability to work in a collaborative fast-moving dynamic team environment. Responsibilities include ( but not limited to) the following tasks:

- Administer and manages cyber defense tools suites (for example, Host Base Security Suite, SIEM and IDS/IPS).

- Support customers with the compliance with directives

- Create signatures and policies to mitigate new threats

- Support cyber incident analyst identification of compromise and mitigation actions.

- Develop and update SOPs for cyber defense systems.

- Propose recommendations on new solutions to improve cyber defense and IT performance issues with legacy assigned Government IT systems.

- Deploy improved DCO capabilities, including new user interfaces/dashboards to minimize.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors in Science Degree and 3+ years of relevant professional experience. (Or may consider an additional 4 years of relevant professional experience in lieu of degree)

- Must have (1) active IAT II certification (from the following: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP).

- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field of cyber security.

- Must have an active and current TS/SCI clearance. US Citizenship is Required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Masters Degree - Operating Certification (from the following: Linux or Microsoft Certification) CSSP Infrastructure Support certification (from the following: CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, or CFR).

- Detail-oriented and have excellent verbal and written communications skills, leadership skills, and organization skills.

- Ability to work independently, and as a team member.
