Job Description
- Operate the primary and booster pump house using system program to ensure the safe operation of compressors, pumps, various valve stations and automatic systems
- Maintain shift log and perform periodic welfare checks with the crew
- Manage assignment and sign-out procedure for snowmobiles, communication radios, and headlights, etc.
- Develop daily strategy with on-hill point person and deliver the plan to staff
- Maintain accurate account of valve adjustments, snowgun log, battle map, compressor log, and shift log.
- Provide a briefing to the next shift on system irregularities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Some leadership experience preferred
- Valid, unrestricted Colorado driver’s license required for certain positions
- Computer proficiency required
- Knowledge of snowmaking software preferred
- Pass Aspen Skiing Company and Colorado snowmobile tests

Supervision Given and ReceivedSupervision Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Supervision Received: Works under direct supervision of the Snowmaking Manager. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently.
