Job Description

SNI Technology's client located in Broomfield, CO is immediately seeking to hire a Systems Analysis, Development, and BI Manager for an exciting full-time, direct-hire opportunity.

POSITION SUMMARY Manage a team of system analysts, programmers, and business intelligence analysts responsible the design, implementation, configuration, and operational support of the business systems that comprise the technology ecosystem. Demonstrate deep level of understanding not only of technical systems but their relation to business operations and proactively seek ways to improve business functions. Monitor production of credit union applications, including job scheduling, verification of results, and quality control. Facilitate the data management and reporting applications that are used to support the organization's analytics and reporting environment. Manages subordinate staff in day-to-day performance of their jobs, ensures adherence to best practices and credit union policy. Provide input to strategic direction and tactical oversight of application environment and its utilization. Prepare reports and provide recommendations for the credit union to the VP of Information Technology Business Applications. Uphold high ethical standards, security practices and confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of data accessibility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Ensures effective and efficient operations of Credit Union applications, meeting, or exceeding needs of the organization
  • Ensure stability, accuracy, and performance of data warehouse
  • Identify opportunities for business application improvement and utilization, including staff interaction, training, and analysis
  • Consult with users to determine software or system functional specifications.
  • Audit and verify developed software solutions to ensure accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements and best security practices using a combination of PowerOn, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Java, Python, Ruby, PowerShell and Visual Basic
  • Identify, train and coach staff to analyze and oversee operational, tactical, and strategic application and reporting needs
  • Generate and maintain data dictionary and ensure enterprise data integrity and alignment
  • Champion data integrity, consistency, and clarity throughout the organization
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement within credit union processes, business intelligence practices and future and emerging technologies that benefit the credit union and its members
  • Respond to internal inquiries and develop software solutions for system failures and complex technical problems in all of these areas to deliver a sound and stable computing infrastructure, providing exceptional support while demonstrating a sense of priorities.
  • Ensure adherence to Software Development Life Cycle, code control and secure programming best practices
  • Document, test and modify computer systems to ensure optimal operation within the business environment.
  • Serve as information resource for users, including determination of most appropriate solution, providing, or arranging application-based report writing, or educating users to retrieve the information themselves.
  • Oversee staff developing software solutions for lines of business using a combination of PowerOn, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Java, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Visual Basic, and .NET
  • Remain knowledgeable of operations and the computer systems within client departments to provide comprehensive support.
  • Works closely with executive management, communicating regularly with technical and operations staff to ensure systems integrity and security; developing, identifying, and installing new applications and customizing existing applications in order to make them fit for purpose.
  • Establish regular maintenance and review of credit union's systems, permissions, and performance
  • Serve as senior technical resource for business application environment including administration of AIX, UNIX, and Windows systems
  • Review project requests describing system user needs to estimate time and cost requirements; work with team to coordinate system development and determine project scope and limitations
  • Review release notes for business applications identifying possible issues and new features, coordinate with business lines to address concerns and take advantage of new features
  • Respect confidentiality of information handled.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
  • Demonstrated ability to create software solutions from business requirements
  • 4 years of any combination of HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Java, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Visual Basic, .NET, PowerOn
  • Experience with PowerOn, Symform, SymPDF and Symconnect strongly preferred
  • 2 years Data Warehousing utilizing SSAS or other OLAP toolset
  • Demonstrated ability to create, maintain and document solutions using a combination of Object-Oriented languages, SQL and APIs
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead projects to successful resolution and coordinate with multiple stakeholders

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • 5+ years of Information Technology experience, preferably in credit unions in similar roles
  • Experience with Symitar strongly preferred
  • 2 to 4 years Business Intelligence ETL and SQL experience
  • 2 years of experience with T-SQL or other report writing language required
  • Experience with AIX or other Unix system

  • Ability to work and travel independently and use general office equipment and systems

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

The compensation for this position is in the range of $120K to $133K annually + 12% annual bonus + full benefits. Please note your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities including work experience - talk with your recruiter to learn more.
