Starting Wage: $20 / hour
Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time
Job ResponsibilitiesGreet Members by name and engage in social conversation.
Locate and deliver member and guest ski equipment to member when member and/or guest arrives each day to go skiing.
Receive and transport member and guest skis to ski storage at end of ski day or when member and/or guest is done skiing for the day.
Record tuning instructions and transport equipment to and from local shops.
Cordially greet members and guests and answer questions.
Carefully park member or retrieve vehicles according to parking plan for garage.
Problem solve member issues when able, and direct to upper management for decisions if needed.
Perform minor maintenance and housekeeping tasks as needed.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related directives as needed.
Cooperate with other staff by assisting them as needed.
Arrive on time, neat and clean, in uniform and ready for shift, being professional at all times.
The normal shifts are four ten hour days with three days off. There is mandatory overtime during Christmas, Martin Luther King Weekend, President's Week, and spring break. Most shifts are from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. During special club events employees may be required to come in early or stay late, but will be given ample notice of this during training.
Perform special requests as directed by club managers.
Comply with facility usage and all Vail Resorts policies.
Job RequirementsBe able to multi-task and work well in a fast paced and dynamic team environment - required
A valid US driver's license- required.
Must be able to pass a driving test and a MVR check – required
Ability to drive a manual as well as an automatic - preferred
Must be able to lift 30 pounds and work in all weather conditions – preferred
Must be flexible and able to work weekends, holidays, mornings & evenings when needed, with some required overtime during busy periods and holidays - required
