The Military Space Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) team is made up of enthusiastic and talented individuals that design and produce the hardware, algorithms, and software required to solve the challenging problems of controlling these systems in a harsh, zero-g environment. Do you have experience in spacecraft relative navigation? This is a mid career position that typically requires having 9 years of professional experience.

This position requires that you have an active Top Secret DoD clearance to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret w/SCI .

Learn more about Lockheed Martin's competitive and comprehensive benefits package.Basic Qualifications:- BS Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline focusing on control system design & analysis- Experience in Relative Navigation of Spacecraft- Experience with simulation and programming tools (ex. Matlab/Simulink, C, Python) - Experience in performing GN&C design and analysis tasks - Possess an Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to acquire a TS/SCI clearanceDesired Skills:- CORESIM experience- Strong interpersonal skills- Experience with flight software development and autocode to C- Familiarity with a GN&C hardware suite for space applications - Experience going through a spacecraft program life cycle encompassing requirements generation, design, analysis, integration, verification, and testing of the GN&C subsystem for space applications- Mission operations experience with relative navigation- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment- Demonstrated good communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers.- Active TS/SCI clearance

Pay Rate:In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $111,700 - $186,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
