Job Description - Hardware Test Engineer
Hardware Test Engineer 12 Month Contract Westminster, CO As a Hardware Test Engineer in you will have the responsibility to test hardware, software, and system-level products. The primary focus will be product reliability, performance, and statistical data analysis of our GNSS products/features. GNSS performance testing for both static and dynamic scenarios in agricultural situations, analysis on collected data in preparation for wider use by the engineering team. You will need to work with a diverse group of individuals in multiple time zones. The position requires technical expertise to solve complex technical problems with ingenuity and creativity. The candidate must be highly organized, self-motivated, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Qualifications:- Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical role.
- Experience with testing and analyzing complex software and hardware systems.
- Proven understanding of test validation (GNSS/GPS/RTK preferred).
- Understanding of software development methodologies and software lifecycle.
- Scripting experience (Matlab, Python, Perl).
- 4+ years experience in an engineering test, product development, or other relevant fields.
- Programming experience (C, C, or Java).
- Experience in GNSS/RTK post-processing (i.e. POSPac).
- Familiarity with agricultural, automotive, or avionic systems, heavy machinery controls, or precision agriculture components is a plus.
- Proficiency in Google office suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket).
- Experience with Agile and iterative development practices.
- Understanding of communications buses such as CAN Bus, Serial, and Ethernet.
- Travel (including international) up to 25%.
