Maxar is looking for a Sr. A/V Support Engineer to join our team in Westminster, CO. In this role you will provide technical design and support for A/V hardware and software as well as events and in room technology. You will act as the company-wide subject matter expert for A/V systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Installs, supports, and maintains technology and audio visual equipment.
  • Provides specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
  • Collaborates with the team and external departments and vendors on technology design/setup and support for both small and large events, conference meetings, webcasts, etc.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of major events and large-scale meetings.
  • Research and learn new technologies and assist with innovative setups and designs.
  • Troubleshooting technology issues as they arise and document accordingly always meeting SLAs.
  • Maintains technical expertise in all areas of AV systems network, hardware, and software interconnection and interfacing, such as codecs, audio video switchers, AV control systems, and AV devices (monitors, microphones, cameras, mixers, amplifiers, etc.)
  • Communicates directly with senior leadership clearly and concisely both written and verbally.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be U.S. Citizen or permanent resident
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
  • Associate's degree in a related field. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced level of troubleshooting in AV hardware and control systems, event equipment, video conferencing equipment, and Windows/Mac OS.
  • Ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of installing audio visual control systems including video conferencing systems, cabling and terminating video/audio systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of system testing and troubleshooting expertise on high end A/V integrated control systems (i.e. Extron/Crestron).
  • Intermediate operation of LCD projectors, video players, sound systems, cameras, recording systems, and additional media equipment such as audio mixers and lighting boards.

The compensation range for this position is $69,000.00 to $115,000.00 annually dependent on skills and experience.
