Job Description

The Digital Client Account Director will lead the day to day management of assigned client relationships including the development and execution of service tactics, program elements, and financial management.The Digital Client Account Director will be part of a cross-functional team aligned to building and maintaining growth-focused strategic client relationships. Experience within the digital marketing space is required.

A successful Digital Client Account Director will demonstrate the ability to:

- Contribute to sustainable year-over-year revenue growth

- Initiate and execute project opportunities

- Maintain day-to-day client relationships

- Manage escalation issues to minimize client satisfaction impact

- Ensure client financials are continuously updated and accurate

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility for the Digital Client Account Director is to ensure client relationships remain healthy and grow as part of the larger account strategy. This will include:

- Working collaboratively with clients to ensure the best strategies and integrated plans possible

- Proactively exploring new areas of potential growth opportunities

- Deliver on all revenue targets and commitments

- Developing long-term account relationships across client organizations

- Initiating and managing projects, providing project direction

- Communicating client requests to full team to determine best approach

- Serving as go-to source for advice and counsel to day-to-day client contacts

- Collaborating with ACPs, GVPs, and/or CPs to contribute to the creation of annual and multi-year account plans

- Providing continuous communication with client, across appropriate levels, as well as with internal teams

- Formulating client-specific service tactics, utilizing team orientation in support of the account plan

- Ensuring service levels and services tactics are aligned and maintained with client strategic objectives and contractual obligations

- Contributing to the development of long-term client or related industry solutions

- Maintaining onsite presence with clients (up to 50% travel)

- Participate in all assigned account presentations

- Monitoring and updating financials including revenue, resource allocation/expenses, invoicing, collecting bad debt, margin improvement, contract negotiations/development

Qualifications

- 10+ years’ experience as account relationship and/or business development manager serving Fortune 500 clients

- Experience providing clients with applicable knowledge and solid thought leadership across multiple business categories and situations

- Proven ability to bring resources together to collectively work against a client’s business objectives

- Experience driving and/or assisting in the steps necessary to get various programs launched and implemented

- Proven ability to deliver against revenue commitments

- Proven ability to uncover new areas for growth leveraging Epsilon products and solutions

- Proven ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, cross functional team environment

- Experience working in a highly complex, matrixed corporate environment

- Strong strategic planning, project management, communication and executional skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Experience in fast-changing environments with proven problem-solving skills

- Demonstrated understanding of digital marketing technology

- Ability to meet or exceed client expectations in the area of account management, industry/category/brand knowledge with a good understanding of industry channels and market conditions

- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills

- Bachelor’s degree preferred
