Join an established hospital with over 200 beds to play a vital role as the Hospital Emergency Room RN Director to ensure safe patient-centered care. This hospital serves the Denver Metropolitan area and provides many inpatient and outpatient services. Inpatient services range from Surgery to Respiratory Care to Orthopedics. With the collaboration of the incredible staff focused on the mission of providing patient-centered care, the hospital has been awarded an “A” grade from the Leapfrog Group for Hospital Safety.
The Hospital Emergency Room RN Director will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer. The Director will be supported by two Nurse Managers within the department who will assist in both clinical and administrative duties. Several Supervisor Nurses will also be within the department to assist with any departmental needs. The Director will have the opportunity to form interdepartmental relations with other department leaders and staff in order to ensure smooth patient care and transfers to other units.
The Hospital Emergency Room RN Director will have the opportunity to contribute to the goals and mission of the hospital. The Director will develop personnel and organizational systems needed to provide competitive and cost-effective services for patients. The Emergency Department provides several services such as heart attack care, sepsis care, trauma, and pediatric emergency services. The Nurse Director will oversee administrative duties. These duties include developing and implementing successful fiscal budgets, solving potential problems that can impede safe patient care, and meeting with executive leaders to ensure the goals of the department are being met.
