Maxar is seeking an experienced Product Owner (PO) to join our IT group based in our Westminster, CO office. Within our Agile hierarchy of Epics, Capabilities, Features, and User Stories, IT POs are responsible for taking ownership of their team's backlog, the priority for each of its user stories, and rapidly developing an ownership of the domain in which the team works. You will take direct responsibility for multiple features that are to be addressed by you team. You will also work directly with the Product Manager on prioritization of features and technical roadmaps for the services your team owns.Responsibilities:- Fully support the Agile process used to facilitate system baseline changes, taking ownership of deliverables expected from customer organizations
- Ensure quality by inspecting completed work and verifying work to ensure the correct right functionality is implemented.
- Work directly with other product owners, product managers, system engineers, program managers, service owners, and customers to define technical user stories, features, and roadmaps.
- Make contributions to the Product Manager's forward-looking vision of the architecture roadmap.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams, take ownership of deliverables, and drive assigned tasks to completion.
- Manage client expectations to ensure realistic timetables and deliverables, and then exceed those expectations.
- Pursue and resolve project challenges, and product-related issues independently.

- 5 years of relevant experience in an Agile environment
- Bachelor's degree or four additional years of work experience.
- A thorough understanding of Scrum and Agile principles, values, and practices, preferably within a SAFe organization.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience and knowledge
- Experience working in an environment utilizing current and leading edge technologies (e.g. O365, AWS, etc.)
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to translate complex information into ideas and effectively communicate.
- Must be a problem solver with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Strong cross-functional team collaboration skills.
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
