Maxar is looking for a Senior Deskside Support Specialist to join our team in Westminster, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for providing computer support services to users in all areas of the company within the established service level agreements, addressing various technical incidents and problems, working with various types of software, and supporting PC hardware/peripherals, end user documentation and training, and other various tasks associated with end user readiness and support. This position requires on-call support on a rotational basis with other team members. This support is provided in accordance with corporate and company policy and industry best practices. Outstanding communication skills working in a team environment is crucial to the success of the team, the customer, and this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all phases of desktop support, including installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues, are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved
  • Monitor tickets & workflows and in accordance to team's SLAs
  • Create documentation where documentation is absent
  • Administer Active Directory accounts
  • Troubleshoots Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Support
  • Utilize remote user support tools to provide support
  • Provide M/S applications support (Exchange/Outlook, Office, Visio, etc.)
  • Perform (advanced) Windows 7, Windows 10, MAC OS troubleshooting
  • Perform (basic) Linux troubleshooting
  • Provide Service Desk escalations
  • Troubleshoot (basic) Cisco desk phones and mobile phones
  • Perform physical hardware setup and tear down
  • Image systems and deploy software through SCCM
  • Provide rotational on-call support

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Ability to be on call on a rotational basis

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10, MAC OS, iOS, Android
  • Knowledge of Office 2016 and 0365 suite
  • Knowledge of Active Directory Administration
  • Knowledge of Citrix and Virtual PC environments

The compensation range for this position is $22.70 to $37.83 hourly, dependent on skills and experience.
