Maxar is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Raster Product Innovation and Delivery(RaPID) team. The preferred candidate will be located in/near Westminster, CO but the role can be performed remotely within the United States. If you enjoy working collaboratively to encode complicated business workflows and deal with massive datasets to create beautiful mosaic imagery this would be an excellent opportunity for you to explore. What you will do with your teammates:- D evelop and enhance back - end services and user interfaces to exceedourcustomer expectations. This includes extensive test automation to ensure stability andevolving to highreliability through CI/CDpractices.

- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science or related preferred). 4 additional years of related experience may be substituted for a degree.
- 5 or more years of overall experience
- 3-5 years demonstrated experience with Python or Java .
- 1+ year experience in Ruby
- 1+ year experience in Javascript /React
- Exposure to building and supportingsolutions inAWS
- Experience with
- JSON/REST
- Service Oriented Architectures
- Spatialdatabases
- Javascript/React experience
- Linux
- Preference for US Citizens who would be able to obtain a Secret or Top Secret clearance if the need arose
- A great team-centric attitude
- Agile software development lifecycle experience
- Self-starter with the ability to stay organized while balancing multiple priorities
- AWS Associate or Pro Certification
- A math,physics, or GISfocused minor or major
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross team collaboration
- SAFe Agilest 4 Certification
- Experience within theAerospace Industry
- Experience building monitoring and alerting ina serverlessarchitecture
