JVA has an opening for a Structural Design Engineer to join our team in our Winter Park office. We are seeking a highly motivated person with a passion for engineering excellence. Flexibility and desire to work on multiple projects is essential.
As part of JVAs thriving Structural Engineering team you will work with mindful, experienced engineers who are devoted to sensible and conscientious problem solving for Colorado and the rest of the countrys most important built environments. We provide the necessary tools, support, and training to assist our employees in providing technically competent, high quality service to clients. Our portfolio includes K-12 and higher education facilities, government and municipal buildings, resort facilities, parks, recreation, and camp facilities, healthcare, commercial and industrial buildings, single-family residential, senior and multi-family housing.
Responsibilities
ï§ Small to mid-sized projects, primarily residential construction
ï§ Design and detail structural elements from main building frame to support of architectural features
ï§ Provide construction administration services such as shop drawing review, RFI responses, and site observation.
Minimum Qualifications
ï§ 1-3 years experience in all building types and systems.
ï§ EIT Preferred
ï§ RAM and/or RISA and REVIT
