San Juan Basin Public Health is hiring a Public Health Nurse Home Visitor. This position will provide home visits to women and their families eligible for the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) program. Nurses adhere to the NFP model of home visitation and nursing process guidelines, develop therapeutic relationships utilizing concepts of reflection and motivational interviewing, assess physical, emotional, social and environmental needs, goals and outcomes of clients relative to the NFP program, and follow the nursing process in implementing NFP into nursing practice. Applicant must be a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado, BSN required. Minimum of two years experience in maternal/child health or public health is required. Applicants must have CPR certification. The wage range for this position is $24.51 to $36.77 per hour, plus benefits. Although the full salary range for this position is provided, appointments are typically made at or near the range minimum.
