The Marketing Coordinators primary purpose is to develop a dynamic marketing strategy to increase and establish brand awareness and promote the culture of Aurum Labs in the cannabis testing industry of Colorado and Nationwide. This position is quick paced and highly demanding in an ever changing industry. The candidate must have the ability to work as efficiently as possible and make educated decisions that directly impact the profitability of the business.

Responsibilities:

Set specific marketing goals that align with the overall direction and business goals

Design and implement marketing strategies aligned with business targets that support budget requests, projects and campaigns

Analyze sales and marketing metrics

Track and measure marketing outcomes including marketing activities, response, leads, sales, retention and ROI

Develop and maintain digital campaigns to increase web traffic and establish a strong, long-term web presence

Search engine optimization writing (no technical SEO programming knowledge required)

Forecast market trends

Conduct in-depth research to identify new market opportunities and consumer preferences to support campaign creations

Generate innovative ideas to promote our brand and our products

Ensure brand alignment to increase brand awareness and equity

Work with internal teams to ensure brand consistency through all marketing channels

Use customer feedback to ensure client satisfaction

Address advertising needs

Maintain activity and presence on social media accounts, blog, and newsletter

Create marketing material:

Information packets: brochures, pocket folders, cut sheets, etc.

Direct mail pieces: postcards, letters, coupons, invitations

Client promotion: speeches, email blasts, newsletters, banners

Public relations: press releases, public service announcements, email and letter notices

Advertising: print ads, radio spots, TV spots, web banners, billboards

Web-based content: photography, images

Attend local, regional, and national conferences as a representative and to conduct marketing research

Design and produce merchandise and apparel.

Development of annual strategic plan deliverables including some or all of the following:

Secondary (online) research, Primary research “ conducting surveys and focus groups, Data analysis, Objective planning, Media planning, Budgeting, Report writing, Formal presentations

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelors degree in Marketing or relevant field

Proven work experience as a Marketing agent (5 years minimum)

Demonstrable experience with marketing campaigns and web technologies

In-depth knowledge of CRM software and Content Management Systems

Understanding of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics and web design

Ability to understand and communicate strongly technical information (science and math focused)

Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when required

To be considered for this position, candidates must NOT have a drug-related felony within the last 10 years and must be 21 years or older to obtain a Marijuana Enforcement Division occupational badge. Candidates MUST meet the requirements.

Job type: Full time

Compensation: DOE (depending on experience) - annual salary plus benefits
