Habitat for Humanity of Archuleta County, located in Pagosa Springs, Colorado is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor with a heart for first time buyers.
If remote, minimum one year of experience in the mortgage industry.
The person hired for this role will package USDA Rural Development 502 Direct mortgage loans.
Ongoing training and certification as a Qualified Loan Packager for USDA Rural Development 502 mortgages is a requirement for this position. Completion of Direct Loan Packager’s Training and passing the exam is required within 3 months of starting.
Preferred Experience & Aptitudes:
1 year of mortgage loan experience
Understanding of credit and personal financial management
Computer skills to include Microsoft Word & Excel
College degree or equivalent work experience.

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good listener with the ability to engage in well-considered discussions.
Strong initiative and follow-through
Possess strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
