Local environmental lab has an immediate opening for a full-time Soil / Water Analyst. Analytical experience and/or science degree is highly preferred, but not required.
Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Soil Analyses (Colorado Oil and Gas spill assessments, Mining Reclamation, and Formational Comparison)
Soil Processing for Analysis (including grinding with hammer mills, sieving, weighing, etc)
Wet Chemistry Testing (Mostly benchtop analysis with a development pathway to instrument analysis for the right candidate)
Entering data in the Laboratory Information Management System
Completing Work within Specified Time Frame
Maintaining a Clean and Organized Work Area
