Our Glenwood Springs, Colorado office is currently seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician. The Helpdesk Technician is the first point of contact for all technology support issues company wide. The position requires a broad knowledge of technology concepts and applications and the ability to learn new platforms on demand. In addition to strong technical skills the Helpdesk Technician must exhibit strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills and experience in the following areas:
Minimum qualifications for the successful candidate are:
Previous IT/helpdesk experience and/or training
Ability to translate complex technical information into layman's terms
Physically capable of performing typical IT tasks including ability to carry 50+ lbs. and maneuver around confined and otherwise difficult to access spaces
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high stress environment
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Motivated problem solver
Organized and attentive to detail
Ability to work long hours when needed with occasional out-of-town travel
Valid Colorado Driver's License
Strong desire to live, work, and play in Western Colorado
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
Additional preferred qualifications:
College Degree
Technical Certifications
CAD/GIS/Engineering software platform experience
