Software Engineering Senior AdvisorApplication Development Responsibilities to support highly complex and emerging technologies in support of an Enterprise MDM platform. Support the Enterprise MDM Development approach and processes. Select and implement best practices and processes for Source Control, Build Automation, Automated Unite Test, Code Review, Automated Deployment and Automated (Regression) Testing. Implement performant Enterprise solutions while adhering to emerging application security standards and requirementsMajor Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to software development strategy and product roadmap specific to MDM development
- Drive solution design thought leadership, for a customer -centric perspective
- Ability to understand and translate business requirements into meaningful end to end solutions
- Lead team in collaborative development of prototypes for demonstration of concepts
- Understand functional specifications and use case designs.
- Application Development Responsibilities to support highly complex data, service and application platforms with Enterprise-based emerging big-data technologies
- Responsible for the development and support of Enterprise Customer Preferences, System Catalog, Individual Identity and other customer aligned profile solutions in support of CRM and other Enterprise strategies
- Determines user requirement feasibility, supports solution design, project planning, establishes priorities and monitors progress
- Implements technical changes to improve the team's effectiveness
- Plan out system enhancement implementation roadmap
- Resolve conflicting priority among projects and ad-hoc requests
- Coordinates with team resources to integrate project with other applications and releases and ensure appropriate skillset alignment and staffing
- Participate in and growing strategic partner relationships to support growing demands on the delivery organization
- Maintain Industry awareness of trends and products to support 's position with Customer Master Data Management

- Education / Job Experience: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 5-6 years of solid, diverse work experience in IT, or the equivalent in education and work experience
- Comfortable negotiating and presenting to IT leadership
- Capable of driving decisions specific to large data management, practices, architecture and integration concepts
- Ability to guide, mentor, and grow technologists and other managers.
- Ability to integrate people and teams.
- Comfortable working with management, technical leaders, and software engineers.
- Ability to interact with business owners in business terms.
- Knowledge and experience with the use of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) products, tools and delivery methodologies
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and techniques in development and testing
- Experience with version control and defect management systems
- Ability to influence technical discussions and decisions
- Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
- Experience with fast-paced start-up software development environments.
