100% remote opportunity! There are two openings for this position: one requires payer/provider experience and the other government (Medicare/Medicaid) experience.

Our leading client in Bloomfield is seeking a dedicated Data Product Owner to join their team.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Data Product Owner:
  • Work with Product Managers to translate work requirements and priorities into features
  • Execute assigned features and associated products/deliverables
  • Own assigned features and lead the creation and prioritization of team backlog
  • Work with Scrum Masters and team regularly to ensure features are fully executed within program increment
  • Lead prioritization of work for delivery team based on business value and engagement with stakeholders
  • Responsible for user story management, including accurate story descriptions and acceptance criteria
  • Facilitate and guide the development of metrics, structure of studies, benchmark initiatives, and data collection methodologies in support of business requirements
  • Actively participate in program increment planning, roadmap activities, and program prioritization and sequencing activities
  • Coordinate with Data Stewards and Data Quality Analysts on adherence with data standards and quality metrics
  • Escalate risks to Product Managers
