We are currently seeking a qualified Level 2 Desktop Engineer to join our client s team onsite in Bloomfield, CT or Philadelphia, PA. This opportunity is a 3-month contract with a possibility of extension. Scope of Activity and Responsibilities:
- Provide Install, Move, Add, Change (IMAC), break-fix, and end user support activities as required
- Stage, build, and image systems with standard client image
- Complete special projects as requested
- Provide technical training to junior employees
- Troubleshoot end user hardware and software incidents
- Follow asset management policy and procedures
- Complete monthly cycle counts
- Minimum 2+ years of desk side support service experience
- A+, MCP, MSCE or equivalent certification desired
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and basic business applications
- Good knowledge of Mac device support may be required
- Strong understanding of MS Windows operating systems
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytic / troubleshooting skills
- Strong customer support skills
