MongoDB DBADuties:Responsible for MongoDB Engineering Role to setup standards, guidelines and best practices for Project Delivery team and Operations team. Setting up standards for creating Replica Sets, Sharding and cloud implementations. Hands on experience with planning and implementing capacity and resource expansion to ensure scalabilityRequirements:

  • Candidate should have advanced knowledge of MongoDB
  • Define Backup and Recovery solution as per business RTO / RPO
  • Perform new version features certification
  • Responsible for Level 3 support for Operations team
  • Experience with implementing Data Sharding
  • Experience with Cloud implementations with Mongo Atlas
  • Perform debugging, root cause analysis, tuning and performance improvements
  • Ability to work in a team environment with little to no supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and collaboration skills within and across the teams
  • Knowledge on HA solutions within and across different data centers
  • Experience with Vendor coordination
  • Managing licensing
  • Setup Database alerts and monitoring
  • Setup security standards
  • Experience with database level encryption
  • Candidate should have automation skills to automate and create play books
Skills:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science with more than 5 years of experience
Education:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science
