• Perform maintenance and support activities for assigned applications and application components. This includes troubleshooting, debugging, and completing enhancements for all assignments.
• Execute and implement portions of the software development life cycle, which may include analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance.
• Create and maintain project technical documentation.
• Work closely with development management to review application trends and suggest improvements to reduce the frequency of support issues.
• Interact with customers to learn their business, understand their support needs, and to nurture and maintain positive business relationships
• Collaborate with application support analysts, business analysts, and quality assurance analysts on assigned initiatives or in assigned application areas.
• Conform to project schedules, budgets and ESPN systems design and programming standards.
• Work closely with team as well as internal and external IT groups to ensure system stability and rapid response to issues.

• Comprehensive knowledge of assigned user business operations to provide highly effective and responsive end user support.
• In-depth technical knowledge of Microsoft, Oracle, and other relevant software and programming languages.
• In-depth knowledge of system design, programming, testing, documentation, implementation and support standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of the professional discipline of supporting user application systems.
• Ability to develop accurate, reliable and efficient re-usable solutions that thoroughly resolves application problems.
• Ability to anticipate and avoid common problems and solve problems quickly and independently when they arise.
• Uses written communication skills to fully document support issues in problem tracking software.
• 6-8+ years in applications systems analysis or in directly related subject matter fields.
• At least 6-8+ years' experience in Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports. Database experience with Oracle including PL/SQL.

• Demonstrated experience developing front end applications using Oracle Forms 11.x, OracleReports 11.x.
• Demonstrated experience developing database solutions using Oracle 10.x, PL/SQL and SQLPlus.
• Experience with Unix shell scripting
• Experience using SQR.
• Understands and promotes best practices to other developers though out development cycle.
• Utilize strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills in defining and driving new feature requirements.
• Utilize excellent problem-solving skills.
