Pay range is based on experience and qualifications $11-$16.50/hr. We are currently staffing for about 15 day care centers in the Pittsburgh region. You will be able to choose to work at different centers, or stay at one if you prefer. You can work as much or as little you would likePositions & RequirementsSubstitute Teacher- $16.50/hr: Must be certified in Early Childhood Education with a bachelor's degree.Substitute Group Supervisor $15.50/hr: Must be18 years of age and either:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field. Or;
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children. Or;
An associate degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children. Or;
An associate degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.
Substitute Assistant Group Supervisor $13.25/hr: Must have18 years of age and either:
A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate and 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field. Or;
A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate and 2 years’ experience with children
Substitute Aide $11.00/hr: Must be18 years of age
High School Diploma/GED
Additional Requirements for all RolesPassion for working in early childhood education
Ability to accept early morning/on call assignments
Access to a computer with internet and email capabilities
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within a 5-20 mile radius
Willingness to work with ages birth through Pre-K
Flexibility with scheduling and working in different child care centers
