Solutions Architect (100% REMOTE)Full Time/ Direct Hire Job Description Our client is one of America's leading construction companies, specializing in large, complex civil infrastructure. They also specialize in tunnels, metro and railway systems, as well as airports and water and wastewater treatment plants.Currently, our client is seeking a strong Solutions Architect to support technology and innovation initiatives for our client and business stakeholders. We are seeking someone with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise solutions. Strong SQL and Powershell scripting experience is necessary and having experience developing and supporting solutions across multiple disciplines (e.g., Application, Infrastructure, Middleware, Database, Public Cloud, SaaS) Primary Responsibilities: Work closely with functional areas, technical teams, vendors/consultants & stakeholders to solve business problems with technologyResponsible for leading the analysis, design, planning, implementation, and support of enterprise technical solutionsOwn and govern the adoption and adherence of technology standards and best practices.Proactively identify and resolve issues, problems and/or gaps in existing solutionsMentor technical teamsThis is a hands-on role responsible for solutioning, developing and supporting technology end to end across the enterprise Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise solutionsExperience developing and supporting solutions across multiple disciplines (e.g., Application, Infrastructure, Middleware, Database, Public Cloud, SaaS)Hands-on expertise with SQL & PowerShellExperience developing and supporting API data integrationsExperience with Business Intelligence solutionsExperience implementing and integrating with ERP, HRIS and/or CRM platformsStrong Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum)Experience developing solutions in a hybrid enterprise network environmentSkilled at influencing, guiding, and facilitating decision making across functional areas, technical teams, and 3rd party vendors to design and delivering secure, stable, sustainable & scalable solutionsExperience with process optimization and automationStrong written and verbal communication, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindsetAptitude and desire to quickly become the subject matter expert on new/emerging technologies as needed Preferred: Industry Certifications (e.g., ITIL, Agile, AWS, Azure, TOGAF)Experience developing, automating solutions and performing integrations with JD Edwards, SuccessFactors, Workday, Salesforce, SharePoint Experience with Security-First Architecture Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Python or similar languagesExperience working with shared source code repositories (e.g., GIT), working in a CI/CD and DevOps environment, deploying Infrastructure as code (IaC)Be a part of the ConsultNet difference.
