Solidus is searching for a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer.

Successful candidate will work to improve and extend software for electro-optical satellite subsystems. This individual must have the vision to take ideas and transform them into software that will improve the nation's defense capabilities.

Requirements - US Citizenship and the ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance; Active Secret preferred - Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field - Minimum 12 years' relevant experience as an analog electrical engineer on space programs

Required Experience - Lead electrical design capability - Conceptual original design - Compose requirements and verification plans - Compose technical reports and technical presentations - DoD airborne/ground systems, mission analysis, and government contracts - Focal plane - Quad cells, CCDs, photodiodes, lasers, etc. - DOORS

Additionally Desired - Master's Degree - Power electronics and motor drive design/analysis - Requirements documentation and validation process - PSPICE, - Hyperlynx, Matlab, Mathcad, Orcad, Allegro, Visio and CreoView

Responsibilities - Develop innovative solutions through collaboration with world class experts - Evaluation of customer requirement documents - Electro-optical instrument design - Complex analog design - Worst case circuit performance analysis over mission life - Analog design of deliverable ship set hardware and internal Special Test Equipment - Prepare and present material for formal design reviews and customer meetings - Provide technical support to proposal activities
