Solidus is searching for a Senior Software Engineer.

Successful candidate will work to improve and extend software for electro-optical satellite subsystems. This individual must have the vision to take ideas and transform them into software that will improve the nation's defense capabilities.

Requirements - ship and the ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance; Active Secret preferred - Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical degree - Minimum 5 years' relevant experience

Required Experience - C, C, or C# - Python - Design documentation using formal design standards - Calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra, etc. - Convert mathematical algorithms into code - Hardware debugging and perform SW/HW integration - Document and code management systems (e.g., Git, ClearCase)

Additionally Desired - Design and develop object-oriented systems - Deliver projects using Agile methodologies - UML or similar - Design and code graphical user interfaces - Writing unit tests - Interfacing with electrical test equipment - Ability to work with requirements-based design (e.g., DOORS)

Responsibilities - Develop Innovative solutions through collaboration with world class experts - Expand the company's library of image processing software - Generate requirements for design of test equipment - Testing to verify proper operation of software - Diagnose and troubleshoot of deliverable systems in a lab - Develop and maintain documentation related to software
