Students are responsible for securing their own housing if needed.Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Systems Engineering Summer Intern at Collins Aerospace, you will:
Provide systems engineering for the integration of existing and new electrical and electro-optical UTAS systems with customer platforms
Develop & maintain requirements based on customer platform interface definitions and System Performance Requirements
Perform allocation and decomposition of requirements amongst multiple disciplines (Software, Electrical, etc.)
Work in a collaborative environment with other engineering disciplines, Program Management, and the customer community
Develop requirements for the implementation and verification of systems
Support system verification & certification activities. This may include support of system integration with the host platform and testing
Support the development of next generation electro-optical and survivability systems to meet customer mission needs
Education / Certifications
You must be enrolled as a full time student preceding, and following, the summer internship
GPA of 3.0 or above is required at both the time of application and start date
You must be pursuing a BS/BE in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related technical degree
In addition, you must have completed a minimum of 24 college credits Experience/Qualifications
Ability to execute on cross-functional requirements development
System & design validation experience
Verification development & support
Knowledge of system performance modeling/simulation approaches and associated tools
Experience and ability in the preparation of technical reports and presentations
