Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. The Service Excellence organization is looking for a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) lead to collaborate, shape, and drive ServiceNow tool solutions to satisfy requirements in a harmonized systems environment. This position will work closely with the enterprise team to establish governance as well as define/deploy processes to monitor and improve the health of the CMDB. The candidate will seek to continually improve existing practices through process creation, automation, and data management. This lead should be a self-starter and effective collaborator.This will be a remote position, working Eastern time zone hours.Key responsibilities:Act as SME in the ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM suite of applications supporting ongoing CMDB initiatives and adherence to the CSDM data model.

Proven experience with ServiceNow functionality and ability to drive configuration, implementation, project, change and upgrade management skills.

Work with process owners to understand requirements, scope, design tool resolutions based on deep ITOM / ITSM product knowledge.

Research, evaluate, recommend, design, and implement technologies, automation, and tool capabilities for enablement of end-to-end CI lifecycle.

Perform gap & root cause analysis, develop business cases and requirements documents to specify and implement technical solution(s).

Perform Daily/Weekly/Monthly health checks of the CMDB.

Maintain relationships with business partners and digital technology counterparts to drive up CMDB health.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of related experience OR advanced degree with 5+ years of related experience.

U.S. Citizenship required.

​ Preferred Qualifications: Knowledgeable in ServiceNow ITOM, ITSM Configuration, CSDM 3.0.

Results-oriented with strong written and oral communication including presentation skills and customer focus.

Knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes.

Strong business acumen, including strong analytical skills and ability to negotiate and influence.

High level of systems proficiencies, interfaces, and automation in the ServiceNow platform.

Excellent interpersonal skills, collaboration, communication, relationship building, and negotiation.

Proficient in process documentation and improvement methodologies.

ITIL or similar Service Management Certification desired.

ServiceNow certifications such as system administrator.
