Pratt & Whitney Engineering Development ProgramWe are currently seeking students majoring in Engineering to support disciplines across Pratt & Whitney as part of our Engineering Development Program (EDP). The Engineering Development Program is a multiyear program for new college hires that has been implemented to:Accelerate technical capability through substantive work rotations focused in specific disciplines

Connect EDP participants with a network of technical resources & engineering experts

The EDP offers new employees the opportunity to rotate through assignments in disciplines across our engineering organization, including but not limited to:Design Engineering

Structural Engineering

Project Engineering

Thermals, Fluids Systems and Components Engineering

We’re looking for new EDPs to join our organization. This posting is intended for those obtaining bachelor’s degrees.Basic QualificationsGraduating from an accredited bachelor’s degree program

Applicable fields of study include: Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, Data Science or related fields

Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident/“Green Card” holder) due to government contracts

Fluent in English (verbal/written)

Preferred QualificationsThis position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a consistent record of collaboration, innovation, and initiative

A passion for learning about and pursuing a career in aviation and aerospace

Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in responding to new business challenges

Eager to learn new things, contribute a fresh perspective, and share your knowledge with others

What is my role type?In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is:Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process.
