POSITION SUMMARYThis is the most senior Client Relationship position in the career progression. Incumbents are seasoned sole contributors, who based on performance, are assigned the largest and/or most complex accounts. Incumbents independently, maintain and enhance relationships with existing DC/DB clients in the Government and Taft-Hartley markets. Ensure client satisfaction through periodic client meetings and discussions covering service levels, plan utilization, product offerings, and fund investment performance. Work closely with sales, plan administration, and operations staff. Participate in finals presentations. Resolve the most complex problems and is assigned larger and/or more complex clients. Incumbents have a thorough understanding of client’s requirements. While incumbents have overall responsibility for client relationships, day-to-day service and administrative issues are handled by plan administration staff. May provide guidance to more junior staff, but has no formal supervisory responsibility. Incumbents possess excellent communications skills and in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services.PREFERRED LOCATION OF CANDIDATES ARE MD, DC or VAThe Client Engagement Manager drives the distribution and use of MassMutual’s Workplace Solutions products and services. This Client Engagement Manager position will delivers Plan Sponsor/Advisor support for Government and Taft-Hartley retirement plans (over $5M). The Client Engagement Manager provides education/enrollment assistance for new retirement plans, existing retirement plans with a minimum of $5M in assets, and assigned voluntary benefits cases.RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as strategic Business Partner with external and internal parties to ensure the effective use of MassMutual’s Workplace Solutions products and services

Coordinate with Client Management, Sales, Investment Consulting, Regulatory Advisor Services, Communications Consultants and Worksite Enrollment in support of offering and implementing plan solutions

Analyze investment offerings

Support opportunities for co-manufactured investment placement in fund lineups

Monitor current and future needs for voluntary benefit placements

Consult with Plan Solutions Architect to prioritize sponsor and participant opportunities to drive growth and retention in the Government and Taft-Hartley retirement plan market (over $5M)

Communicate with Plan Sponsors, Advisors and Third Party Administrators as needed to deliver services

Provide Retirement Plan Sponsor/Advisor support for $5M+ clients

Perform plan reviews

Facilitate plan design discussions

Coordinate investment consultations

Manage re-pricing communications

Monitor watch list

Deliver participant enrollment/education support for new retirement plans, for revenue-supported enrollment/education opportunities with existing retirement plans $5M+, and voluntary benefits enrollments

Support initial retirement plan enrollments

Deliver ongoing $5M+ retirement plan enrollments/education

Managed Accounts

Proprietary and co-manufactured investment fund enhancements

Plan design enhancements

Enroll assigned voluntary benefit cases – Whole Life, Universal Life, Critical Illness, Accident

Support new sales and retention sales for retirement plan products by participating in finals presentations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Remote Worker; preferred locations of candidates are MD, DC or VA.

B.A. or B.S. Degree minimum

Series 6/63 Certifications

Resident Insurance License (specific licenses vary by state)

Minimum of 5 years of retirement plan industry experience

Demonstrated strong presentation, analytical and interpersonal skills

Ability to travel regularly to client sites within territory and infrequent travel to client sites outside territory as needed including air travel

Candidate must be physically able to transport and carry business laptop, briefcase, and/or supporting client meeting materials

Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
