We have a wonderful opportunity for a Desktop Support Technician with our client in Stamford.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $40 - $45 / hr. w2 Responsibilities of the Level 2 Desktop Support Technician: - Receive and respond to incoming requests for support from end users
- Help internal customers with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve various PC related problems for end users and recommenda nd implement corrective solutions
- Update ServiceNow tickets, including all relevant information realted to troubleshooting and results
- Ensure tickets are completed within SLAs
Requirements of the Level 2 Desktop Support Technician: - 3+ years of experience in a similar end user support role
- Windows Server: 2003 through 2016
- Windows Active Directory, including add/transfers/terminations and GPO management
- Strong Citrix experience: insatllation and troubleshooting with a remote user
- Experience troubleshooting VoIP systems
- Strong Teams and Office 265 knowledge
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to support remote users
- Ticket management experience - ServiceNow preferred
- Experience supporting VDI using DaaS preferred
- ServiceNow administration experience is a plus
