We have a wonderful opportunity for a Desktop Support Technician with our client in Stamford.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. Rate: $40 - $45 / hr. w2

Responsibilities of the Level 2 Desktop Support Technician:
  • Receive and respond to incoming requests for support from end users
  • Help internal customers with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, and peripherals
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve various PC related problems for end users and recommenda nd implement corrective solutions
  • Update ServiceNow tickets, including all relevant information realted to troubleshooting and results
  • Ensure tickets are completed within SLAs

Requirements of the Level 2 Desktop Support Technician:
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar end user support role
  • Windows Server: 2003 through 2016
  • Windows Active Directory, including add/transfers/terminations and GPO management
  • Strong Citrix experience: insatllation and troubleshooting with a remote user
  • Experience troubleshooting VoIP systems
  • Strong Teams and Office 265 knowledge
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to support remote users
  • Ticket management experience - ServiceNow preferred
  • Experience supporting VDI using DaaS preferred
  • ServiceNow administration experience is a plus
