<>Sr/Lead Developer - Data Science</>Sr Developer – Data Science: Our direct client, a fast-growing FinTech firm, is looking to fill multiple Data Science Developer’s positions due to their business expansion. As the Sr/Lead Developer you will drive engineering of client’s firmwide data science platform. Your typical day will be comprised of designing solutions and coding new features for users. You will be working alongside a variety of areas of the firm including Product Management, Data & Analytics, and Technology teams. This is all greenfield development, work location can be in NYC and Greenwich, CT, client is also flexible with remote work a few days per week once the office in open in the Aug/Sept timeframe. Responsibilities- Automate operational processes with deep learning techniques
- Deploy and monitor production Al/ML models
- Effectively manage and mentor junior developers
- 5+ years of experience as a Python Developer
- Degree or Master's Degree in Software Engineering/Applied Mathematics/Statistics or similar field
- Experience in Tesseract and TensorFlow will be considered a plus
- Strong SQL with any open-source DB platforms (PostgreSQL, MySQLetc)
- Experience working in AWS environment
- Interest in working on a highly technical team
- 2+ years of experience managing and mentoring junior developers
- Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
