Medical Device organization is seeking a "roll up your sleeves" IT Manager to join their staff.This person will manage and support information technology systems and software. Oversee desktop, infrastructure, end user protection, data security, DevOps and vendors with the help of engineering, outsourced and help desk staff.This role is ideal for someone that has worn many hats and comfortable with an environment not very structured.This person will initially get acclimated to their current production environment and within 6-12 months have the opportunity to get involved in Security initiatives. This is a great opportunity for an individual to gain IT Security experience.1 day / week onsite ideal.
Responsibilities:Management of one technical member including; Performance, evaluation and mentoring to ensure they are set up for successManage the IT production environment; hardware, software, operational procedures and operational training related to designated information technologyPartner with the business and vendors on IT related issuesEvaluate purchase and maintenance agreements for designated information technology hardware and software, and coordinate services under these agreements.Provide support for problem diagnosis and resolution related to designated information technology systems.Stay current with information technology trends for future initiatives QUALIFICATIONS:Experience in lead / management IT role within a small organization (AWS cloud, server, network, security and EUC)Latest knowledge of productivity tools (M365, MS Teams), AWS cloud and Cisco technologiesMust possess strong project and vendor management experienceProduction support experience with Microsoft related technologies, routers, switches, and securityEducation: Bachelor of Science in appropriate area, or certified equivalent experience.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) required.Vacancy expired!
