Our client needs a Cloud Engineer with AWS and .NET expertise to support and lead a technology transformation. You will solve end to end engineering problems while providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members.This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Cloud Engineer:- Work across a team of engineers to work on key business initiatives
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Research and apply knowledge of current industry trends and techniques
- Oversee the analysis, design, development, defect resolution, and configuration of complex projects
- Guide team to tackle complex, loosely scoped business initiatives
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of programming/development experience
- Experience with AWS, cloud native development, and good understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with .Net and/or .Net Core
- Experience with JavaScript, React/Angular, Node.js
- Experience of automated deployment / DevOps tools and technologies
- Working knowledge of source control management tools such as Git
- Experience working as a team member in an Agile delivery model
