4158BRTitle:Data Science & Technology LeadJob Description:In this position you will develop data science and data technology solutions and deliver innovative industry-leading engineering risk solutions to our clients. Work with stakeholders to create impactful digital projects and to drive innovative scalable solutions.Requisition Number:4158BRQualifications:Education & Experience: Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of data science or ML engineering work experience on large datasets using Hadoop/Spark/Databricks. Deep expertise in common state-of-the-art ML/AI algorithms. Experience working with diverse business functions to prioritize, scope, design and deploy ML/AI solutions. Experience articulating business questions and selecting the right statistical tools to creatively solve open and complex business questions. A strong sense of commitment to end-to-end product and service quality providing to clients and customers.Knowledge & Skills: In-depth knowledge of modern data architecture and data pipelines and ability to distill ambiguous business problems into analytic solution framework and technology requirements to provide actionable insights & scalable solutions. Proficiency in coding (R/Python/SQL) and passion to turn ideas into prototypes. Familiar with both traditional data warehousing and large-scale storage (e.g. data lake) with semi/unstructured data. Strong strategic business acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and navigate complex organizational matrix relationships. A deep understanding of cloud computing (e.g. Azure, AWS) and big data analytics stack (e.g. Databricks) as well as other emerging trends.
