- Help containerize applications and move workloads to Kubernetes
- Convert OpenShift applications to Kubernetes native applications
- Automate component builds, deployments, and operation
- Establish the overall design to orchestrate and manage containers in EKS
- Help define Kubernetes best practices(conventions, security, policies and others)
- Implement monitoring and alerting for containerized apps
- Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in migrating applications from On-Premise to AWS EKS
- Hands on experience in implementing industry standard security and compliance practices for Docker, Kubernetes
- Strong hands-on knowledge of one or more of infrastructure-as-code tools(Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
- Experience with metrics, monitoring and alerting tools (Catchpoint, Sensu, Prometheus, DataDog)
- Experience writing and deploying applications to Kubernetes using Helm charts
- Exceptional skills in debugging, triaging and troubleshooting of containerized applications
- Experience of working with a variety of modern development tooling(Git, Gradle, Jenkins and Nexus)
