IT Software Asset Management AdministratorThe IT Software Asset Management Administrator will support the IT Asset Management (ITAM) team by data processing IT software assets purchases and maintenance renewals into the software asset management repository tool.The role may be responsible for interaction with vendors for requesting quote information via email and may include reviewing vendor contract provisions for alignment to quote information and receiving appropriate sign off from internal Hartford team prior to final input in the systems. The role may be responsible for assisting the ITAM team with researching, confirming and documenting the license metrics of entitled software.QualificationsThe candidate should have knowledge in supporting the procurement and asset management lifecycle for IT software assets. The individual should have a broad knowledge of types of IT software products, their use, and license metrics.Additionally, the individual should have the following abilities:

• Work independently without daily supervision but with an awareness of when to engage management
• Take disparate information, analyze and summarize for final decision making by internal customers across the company
• Previous experience in software asset management, contracting, requisitioning, and administration of software contracts is preferred.
• Solid writing skills are required to ensure that their work is clearly and concisely documented in the corporate management systems. In addition, concise result-driven verbal communication skills used in working with vendors and all levels of internal customers.
• Required skills in Microsoft Office (particularly in Excel files).
