- SQL Server databases DBA through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
- Working Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions (AlwaysOn) of SQL Server
- Configure and maintain SQL Server database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
- Assist application developers to deliver data through the design of stored procedures, functions, views and on required fixing complex query tuning and schema refinement.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities.
- Importing & exporting database sql server MSBI (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) components
- Working knowledge on T-sql and powershell
- SQL server MCTS, MCITP certifications a plus.
- At least 7-8 years of experience on SQL Server Administration
- Leverage knowledge of database architecture to develop normalized database solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Cloud experience & Certification (AWS preferred)
- Experience with cloud architecture and technologies, in particular Amazon Web Services.
- Knowledge of designing and deploying AWS Services like Elastic Compute (EC2), ECS, ECR, Storages (S3, EBS, EFS, Glacier and AWS Storage Gateway), RDS
- knowledge of DevOps - computing, storage, logging and monitoring, auditing and security services
